SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- A woman stabbed a man in downtown San Diego Monday morning after he reportedly dropped his Chihuahua as she watched from her window.
The incident happened on the 900 block of 9th avenue around 9:40 a.m. According to the man, he was carrying the small dog when it leapt from his arms, letting out a yelp as it fell to the ground.
The woman, who was watching from her apartment window, yelled at the man and threatened to injure him.
The woman then rushed down the stairs, approached the man, who was across the street, and stabbed him once in the thigh.
The woman then returned to her apartment before leaving the scene.The victim received only superficial wounds, police said.
The suspect was found shortly after the stabbing and arrested for assault with a deadly weapon.
