LOS ANGELES (CNS) - One person was shot at the Baldwin Hills Crenshaw mall Monday afternoon.
The shooting occurred at 2:31 p.m. in the 4100 block of Crenshaw Boulevard, said Officer Matthew Ludwig. He could not confirm an ABC7 report that the victim was a woman who was shot in the leg in the mall's food court.
Management at the mall declined comment.
Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department said the victim, who was not immediately identified, was transported to a hospital.
There were no reports of arrests, and police did not provide a suspect description.
