SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A large plume of smoke rose over San Diego County Wednesday, as a fire burned in the mountains in Mexico.
It wasn't immediately clear what started the fire or where exactly in Mexico it was located. Sky10 captured the smoke and flames burning in the hills south of Otay Mountain.
Cal Fire crews were monitoring the situation soon after smoke was visible and said the fire did not pose a threat to the United States.
