SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- The first Tuesday of every August, people across the nation recognize National Night Out.
The night is designed to strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community relations and heighten crime and drug prevention awareness.
Thousands of people throughout the county are expected to attend this year’s National Night Out.
