SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Westview High School was placed on lockdown Friday following reports of a weapon on campus.
San Diego Police were called to campus just before noon to investigate reports of a person locked in a bathroom with a gun and backpack.
Police said they did not locate anything per the reports. No injuries were reported.The lockdown was lifted just after 1 p.m.

Westview High parents will be allowed to pick up students with an ID. A staff meeting was planned for campus administrators following the incident Friday.
Westview High has been placed on lockdown due to a report of a sighting of a possible firearm in a campus bathroom.
