AMBER ALERT: Woman accused of abducting teen in Los Angeles area

An Amber Alert is in effect for Los Angeles and Orange counties as authorities search for a woman who carjacked a car with a 16-year-old boy inside in the Los Angeles area.
According to a KABC report, Los Angeles Police Department officials said 31-year-old Kandice Johnson was armed when she carjacked a woman standing outside of her car at about 4 p.m. Thursday. Police allege Johnson then drove away with 16-year-old Eric Coleman, the victim's stepson, in the back seat.
Other details on the case were not immediately provided.
Johnson was last seen driving a black 2014 Toyota Camry with California license plate number 7XWL023.
The teen is black, 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
Johnson is black, 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 147 pounds. She has red, green and black multi-colored braids.
She is believed to be armed and considered dangerous.
Anyone who sees the victim, suspect or car is urged to call 911.
