SAN DEIGO, Calif. (KGTV) -- Thousands of San Diegans showed up to the Embarcadero on Sunday morning for the 10th annual Bike the Bay.
The ride was for cyclists of all ages and experience levels. It was a 25-mile bike right through Coronado, San Diego, National City, Imperial Beach and Chula Vista.
Proceeds from Bike the Bay go to the San Diego County Bike Coalition, an organization that advocates for cyclists rights and for more bike paths.
In 10 years, they've raised more than a half-million dollars. They use the money to advocate for a more bike friendly city.
