(KGTV) - Friday may be a little heated in San Diego, but there is a free way for locals to cool off.
Starbucks is offering free, 12-ounce drinks at U.S. locations from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. as part of their "Free Tea Friday" promotion, featuring their Teavana Shaken Iced Tea Infusion drinks.
Customers can sample Pineapple Black Tea, Strawberry Green Tea and Peach Citrus White Tea flavors of their drinks.

The drinks are completely complimentary during the hour-long promotion.
The event comes during a delicious week for customers of various chains around the country. Friday, Krispy Kreame is also running a special event by offering a dozen donuts for 80 cents with the purchase of a dozen at regular price.
Tuesday, 7-Eleven offered free Slurpees at U.S. locations and Chick-Fil-A also ran a free entree promotion the same day.
