SDPD investigates deaths of two South Bay homeless men as homicides

SAN DIEGO (KGTV)--San Diego Police announced Sunday the deaths of two homeless men at an Otay Mesa strip mall are being investigated as homicides.

A San Diego Police officer was patrolling the area of 3400 Palm Ave. Wednesday, May 17, and found two men who appeared to be sleeping in front of a closed business.  Upon further contact, the officer determined both men were dead and had significant trauma on their upper torsos.

The San Diego County Medical Examiner identified the men as 56-year-old Curtis Murray and 61-year-old Albert Stringer.    Police say both men were homeless.
