San Diego Sheriff's nab fugitive wanted for child cruelty, robbery

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A 24-year-old robbery and child cruelty suspect has been caught, the San Diego Sheriff's Department (SDSO) said Thursday.

Kevin Manriquez was wanted for robbery, manufacturing of a controlled substance, and child cruelty, according to SDSO. He was arrested on Aug. 17, according to SDSO jail records.

Manriquez was known to frequent the Spring Valley area, though SDSO did not elaborate on where he had been apprehended.

Manriquez is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 28.
