SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- The Rock 'n' Roll marathon was back in town on Sunday for its annual run. Thousands showed up early to run the full and half marathons.
About 26,000 showed up to participate. The course kicked off in Balboa Park and took runners through some of San Diego’s most popular neighborhoods, like Hillcrest, North Park, and Mission Hills.
Chula Vista native and Boston Marathon winner Des Linden and four-time Olympian Meb Keflezighi also ran the half marathon today.
