CHICAGO (KGTV) - Two men and a 12-year-old boy were shot at a Chicago-area Starbucks store Thursday night, and police confirmed one of the men died at the scene.
ABC 7 in Chicago reported the shooting happened in the city's Uptown neighborhood at 8:30 p.m. Thursday.
According to ABC 7, the 12-year-old was transported to the hospital after being shot in the groin. He is in good condition, the station reported.
The other male shooting victim was also taken to the hospital and is listed in serious condition, ABC 7 said.
ABC 7 reported that an apparent drug deal preceded the gunfire, and police told the station that the three victims knew each other.
The shooter remains at large.
