Police trying to solve 27-year-old Clairemont cold case

CLAIREMONT, Calif. (KGTV) -- Police are asking for the public’s help identifying the suspect in a 27-year-old cold case.

Police say the body of 29-year-old Lori Anne Mooney was found by a resident of the Clairemont Friendship Senior Center during his morning walk on June 8, 1991.

Investigators later determined that Mooney was a victim of a homicide.

According to police, Mooney was a resident of Clairemont and frequented the area near the senior center, often on her motorcycle. No suspect description was given by police.
