ENCINITAS, Calif. (KGTV) - Police activity in the Encinitas area is preventing Coaster trains to move through the station Wednesday.

The incident area was cleared as of 4:25 p.m., according to North County Transit District, though full service was not yet restored. An extra southbound train departed from Oceanside at 4:26 p.m., in light of the delays.

However, the C665 train out of San Diego and C662 train out of Oceanside were both canceled.

NCTD is currently working to establish a bus bridge between Carlsbad Poinsettia and Encinitas stations, following reports of a "trespasser incident."

NCTD advised passengers to use the 101 Breeze Route around the area if possible.

All northbound trains out of San Diego will continue to operate to Encinitas station, where a shuttle train is operating between Oceanside and Poinsettia, according to NCTD.
