DULZURA, Calif. (KGTV) - One person is dead after a motorcycle collided with a tractor-trailer in the East County Tuesday.
The crash occurred on State Route 94 near Freezer Road just after 12 p.m. A 56-year-old man was driving a 2004 Harley Davidson motorcycle westbound on SR-94, according to California Highway Patrol (CHP). The motorcyclist collided with the left front portion of a tractor-trailer traveling eastbound.
The motorcyclist was ejected from his bike and died at the scene.
The driver of the tractor-trailer, a 30-year-old male, was uninjured, CHP said. Officers do not suspect alcohol or drugs played a factor in the collision.
