KEARNY MESA, Calif. — A young male deer took a stroll through a busy Kearny Mesa business area Monday.
County of San Diego Animal Services and State Fish & Wildlife experts corralled the deer behind a building that is currently under construction on Balboa Avenue.
The deer was methodically moved back into a safe corner of the parking lot.
A Fish & Wildlife officer said that’s where the deer hopped a fence into a watershed area where it will be safe.
