WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The FBI, SEC and Federal Trade Commission have joined forces with the Justice Department in asking Facebook questions regarding the sharing of data with Cambridge Analytica, the Washington Post reports.
Sources told the Post that the emphasis is now on what Facebook reported publicly and whether or not they notified the pubic in a timely manner.
Mark Zuckerberg’s testimony on Capitol Hill is also under scrutiny, according to the sources.
Officials with Facebook say the company is sharing information and complying with officials in the US and UK. Since the scandal started, Cambridge Analytica has closed its doors.
