CLAIREMONT, Calif. (KGTV) - A San Diego Police motorcycle officer was injured in a crash Tuesday afternoon.
San Diego Fire-Rescue crews were called out to the intersection of Balboa Avenue and Genesee Ave. to reports of the crash just before 2 p.m.
The severity of the officer's injuries is unknown, though they did complain of back pain. The officer was taken to a nearby hospital.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
