OCEANSIDE – A man was airlifted to a local hospital after apparently being the victim of a hit-and-run in Oceanside Friday morning.
Sometime around 3:30 a.m. the man was found lying in the street with head injuries at San Rafael and Sunset drives in Oceanside. He was airlifted to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla, Oceanside police report.
The exact circumstances of the crash were not confirmed. Police are investigating.
