RAMONA, Calif. (KGTV) - A man who pulled up to get gas at a Ramona gas station Thursday night was stabbed to death by a stranger following an altercation.
San Diego sheriff's deputies said Jarrett Wishnick, 26, was also getting gas when a fight broke out between Wishnick and Steven Faught, 59.

It remains unclear why the two men began fighting near the pumps at the Stage Stop gas station on Main Street. As the fight escalated, deputies said one, or both, men were stabbed, possibly with broken beer bottles which littered the crime scene.
Faught was airlifted to the hospital where he later died of his injuries.
Wishnick was arrested and taken to the Vista Detention Facility and booked on one count of murder.
Homicide detectives are trying to piece together what happened and what led up to the fight, but as of Friday morning, they had not been able to locate any witnesses or surveillance video.
Deputies are asking anyone with information to call the San Diego Sheriff's Department homicide division.
Friends have set up a GoFundMe page to help pay for funeral expenses.
