SANTEE, Calif. (KGTV) -- A mother in Santee is warning women to be careful while walking on the Walker Preserve Trail.

She says she was walking on the trail with her seven-month-old baby and her friend on Monday when they heard a man whistling. They turned around and saw a man exposed and touching himself.

The woman reported the incident to the San Diego Sheriff's Department. She also posted what happened on Facebook. She says at least five other women messaged her to tell her the same thing happened to them.

The man is White or Hispanic in his late 20s to early 30s. He has dark hair, stands about 5'11" and weighs about 190 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black shirt and black jeans.

The sheriff's department says they are investigating, but say they have only received one official report. Anyone with information is asked to call the Santee substation (619) 956-4000.
