NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. (KGTV) -- A man has been arrested in the murder of a former San Diego Gulls player, according to KABC.

The bodies of Darren Partch, 38, and Wendi Miller, 48, were found in a Newport Beach condo Easter Sunday. Partch played for the San Diego Gulls during the 2005-2006 season.

According to KABC, friends say the pair were in Laguna Beach right before the crime.
