NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. (KGTV) -- A man has been arrested in the murder of a former San Diego Gulls player, according to KABC.
The bodies of Darren Partch, 38, and Wendi Miller, 48, were found in a Newport Beach condo Easter Sunday. Partch played for the San Diego Gulls during the 2005-2006 season.
According to KABC, friends say the pair were in Laguna Beach right before the crime.
Jamon Rayon Buggs, 44, has been identified as the suspect. He is being held on $1 million bond.
