A person allegedly fired shots into a car parked on Telegraph Canyon Road, but the two people inside it were not hurt, and the alleged shooter was jailed Sunday.
A caller reported to police at about 11:56 p.m. Saturday that someone had shot a gun into her parked car, as she and her friend sat in it, in the 400 block of Telegraph Canyon Road, according to a report from the Chula Vista
Police Department.
Officers found the vehicle had been shot several times, but the two people inside were not hit by gunfire. The officers were told the suspect had runaway, but had apparently left a suspicious car parked in the middle of the
street.
The license plate led officers to the suspect's home, where he was taken into custody without incident.
The suspect's name, or motive for the shooting, were not released.
