SANTEE (KGTV) – Authorities have identified the man they say stabbed his wife in Santee before being arrested in San Diego Monday.
Deputies say Travis Haddix, 27, and his wife met at an Olive Garden parking lot in Santee to discuss their separation and child custody.
The discussion became heated and Haddix attacked the victim, stabbing her four times, according to authorities.
Deputies say Haddix then went to a friend’s house in the college area in San Diego, where he was later arrested for attempted murder.
The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment. Authorities say none of the stab wounds are life-threatening.
