SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Police are searching for a driver who reportedly hit two people crossing the street in East Village before running away.
According to San Diego Police, the incident happened on the 300 block of 14th Street around 12:20 a.m. Sunday.
Police say a 24-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man were crossing 14th street in an unmarked crosswalk when the driver of a Ford Mustang attempted to make a U-turn, lost control and hit the pair.
The crash left the woman pinned against the wall with a fractured hip and the man with abrasions, according to police.
The driver ran away from the scene on foot and has yet to be located, police say.
