SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- A water main break in Mission Beach led to flooding in an alley early Monday morning.
The main break was reported at around 5 a.m. in an area near San Rafael Place, off Mission Boulevard.
While the cause of the break is not known, 10News learned the flooding was caused by water trying to drain into one storm drain.
By 6:30 a.m., city crews stopped the flow of water from the break.
A construction project was in progress in the area, but it is unknown if the project led to the main break.
