SPRING VALLEY (KGTV) -- An hours-long SWAT standoff came to an end Thursday evening in Spring Valley.
According to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, the incident began around 1:30 on the 10700 block of Jamacha Boulevard.
Deputies tried to serve the man with a warrant when he barricaded himself inside his home.
The man was taken into custody around 6:30 p.m., the department says.
Several nearby mobile homes were evacuated during the standoff. It's unclear at this time what the suspect was wanted for.
