Suspects smash cases, steal jewelry from San Carlos store, police say

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Police are searching for three suspects who reportedly robbed a jewelry store in San Carlos Saturday afternoon.

According to police, the men entered the San Carlos Jewelers store on Lake Murray Boulevard around 1:15 p.m. Saturday.

The men then began smashing jewelry cases and grabbing jewelry before running out of the store.

The robbery marks the third jewelry store robbery in less than a month.

Since early December, two Jared Jewelry stores have been robbed in Mission Valley and Carmel Valley.

It’s unclear at this time whether or not all three incidents are connected.
