CHULA VISTA, Calif. (KGTV) -- Thousands are without power in Chula Vista shortly after storms moved through the area.
According to SDG&E, more than 4,700 people are without power in West, East and South Chula Vista as well as Castle Park.
The outage was reported at 8:13 p.m. and is unplanned, according to SDG&E.

At this time, it’s unclear what caused the outage, but the company expects to have power to customers restored by 11 p.m. Thursday.
