SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- A GoFundMe is attempting to raise money for a church that helps homeless teenagers.
The Missiongathering Church in North Park was shut down this week after more than two dozen violations were handed to them by the city.
In addition to being a shelter, the church also rents out the property as a music and sanctuary venue called “The Irenic.”
The City of San Diego says the church never received clearance to do that.
The GoFundMe hopes to raise $15,000 to fix the violations.
