SAN DIEGO (CNS) - Sharp HealthCare announced today that it awarded a $5,000 sponsorship to Wreaths Across America San Diego to support forthcoming wreath-laying ceremonies at local cemeteries and Greenwood Memorial Park.

The donation, part of the Sharp Lends a Hand program to encourage involvement in local events, will support ceremonies at Fort Rosecrans and Miramar national cemeteries and Greenwood Memorial Park on Dec. 14. According to Sharp, nearly 500 employees and their family members participated in last year's ceremonies at the three sites.

"For the third year in a row, Sharp HealthCare is proud to support Wreaths Across America San Diego,'' Sharp HealthCare president and CEO Chris Howard said.
