SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — The county's fourth Shake Shack location is set to open this month, as the east coast burger chain expands its presence in San Diego.

Shake Shack's Little Italy location at 2008 India Street will debut to the public on April 28. To celebrate, the first 100 people in line when doors open at 11 a.m. will receive a free San Diego Richer Poorer t-shirt.

Fans of the chain will have another location to grab Shake Shack's roadside-style burgers, chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, crinkle-cut fries, and custard, including the California exclusive Roadside Double, a double Swiss cheeseburger with Dijon mustard and onions simmered in bacon and beer.

The Little Italy stop will also churn out a unique selection of custard concretes, including Pie Oh My (vanilla custard with a slice of Four & Twenty Backbirds seasonal pie), Caramel Cone (vanilla custard, salted caramel, sugar cone pieces, and chocolate sprinkles), and Shack Attack (chocolate custard, fudge sauce, chocolate truffle cookie dough, Mast Brothers dark chocolate chunks, chocolate sprinkles).

Five percent of proceeds from Pie Oh My sales will be donated to I Love a Clean San Diego, a local environmental conservation non-profit.

And, of course, a selection of San Diego's finest craft beers will be on tap from Modern Times, Stone Brewing, AleSmith, and Thorn Brewing, plus Shake Shack's own Brooklyn Brewery ale. The burger chain's exclusive Shack Red and Shack White wines will also be available.

One neighboring restaurant is celebrating as well.

Juniper & Ivy executive chef Anthony Wells has teamed with Shake Shack to re-create a limited edition "ShackMeister" burger available at Juniper & Ivy from April 22 - 28. The burger features two housemade patties made from a mix of hanger, short rib, and chuck stacked on a potato roll and topped with beer-infused raclette cheese, shallots, and "Shake Sauce."

As for the 2,680 square-foot location, Little Italy's Shake Shack includes a dog-friendly patio and tabletops made from reclaimed bowling alley lanes, keeping with the company's eco-friendly goals.
