SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- San Diego Police are searching for a gunman after a man was shot in the chest in East Village Sunday morning.
According to San Diego Police, the shooting happened on the 500 block of 7th Avenue just after 2 a.m.
Police say the victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
As of 8 a.m. Sunday morning, no suspects were in custody.
At this time, the circumstances leading up to the shooting remain unclear.
