SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- San Diego police responded Sunday to a deadly shooting the Rolando area.
According to police, the incident happened at El Cajon Boulevard and 73rd Street after 12 p.m. Officers received a call of a single-vehicle crash.
Police arrived to find paramedics treating a 35-year-old man who had been driving the vehicle suffering from life-threatening injuries to his torso. The injuries, however, were not from the crash, SDPD said.
The man was taken to a nearby hospital but died of his injuries. The man has been identified, but his identity was not released pending family notification.
At this time, no information is available on the victim or any suspects.
