SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Police are searching for two men they say robbed a Carmel Mountain jewelry store at gunpoint Saturday night.

According to police, the robbery happened just before 6:30 p.m. on the Jared jewelry store 11000 block of Carmel Mountain Road.

After entering the store, one of the suspects, who police say had a gun, made everyone leave while the other suspect broke glass cases with a hammer and stole jewelry.

Following the robbery, the suspects ran out of the store down Carmel Mountain Road.

Police say both suspects were wearing dark masks that covered their entire faces. The amount stolen from the store is unclear at this time.
