LA MESA, Calif. (KGTV) -- A gas leak that forced residents in a La Mesa neighborhood to shelter in place Tuesday has been contained.
According to firefighters, construction crews working on a wall hit the gas line around 3 p.m. on the 8000 block of Vista Drive.
Two homes were evacuated following the incident, while nearby neighbors were told to shelter in place.
