CHULA VISTA, Calif. (KGTV) -- Police are searching for several suspects accused of burglarizing a construction trailer in Chula Vista.
According to police, the burglary happened on April 17 on the 600 block of East Palomar Street around 2:21 a.m.
The suspects reportedly stole $18,000 worth of tools, including a generator and a ground compactor.
Investigators believe the suspects were driving a stolen 2000 maroon-colored Chevrolet full-sized pickup with California license plate 7D70263.
The first suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his 20s or 30s with a thin build, short, dark hair and an earring in his right ear. He also appeared to have unknown tattoos on both biceps.
The second suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his 20s or 30s who is heavyset and has short, dark hair, thick rimmed glasses, a mustache and goatee and was seen wearing a thick, gold chain over his t-shirt.
