SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- San Diego Police are investigating following a deadly hit-and-run in Clairemont Wednesday night.
According to police, the incident happened around 7:30 p.m. on the 5500 block of Clairemont Mesa Boulevard.
Police say a 44-year-old man was found dead on the eastbound lanes of traffic. They say he was struck by a car, which fled the scene. Then the man was hit by two other vehicles as he was lying on the road. Both also fled the scene.
Clairemont Mesa Boulevard near Dubois Street was closed for several hours during the investigation.
