SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Police are investigating the death of a pedestrian in Ocean Beach that may be the result of a hit-and-run collision.
The incident was reported at around 10:30 p.m. Thursday in the 4500 block of Voltaire Street, San Diego police said.
Officers were called to the scene in response to a man lying on the street with a crumpled skateboard nearby. The unidentified victim was declared dead at the scene.
Police have very little to work with in their investigation, as no one witnessed the incident, no vehicle description was available, and no skid marks were found on the road.
