SAN DIEGO (KGTV) – A north San Diego County company is offering guests a unique look at the super bloom that is gaining nationwide attention.
Waverider Helicopter Tours, based in Oceanside, is taking passengers on a tour of the super bloom in Lake Elsinore, but the view is from about 500 feet in the air.
For the 70-minute tour, passengers will lift off from Oceanside Municipal Airport, head south along the coast, and then fly over the Carlsbad Flower Fields. The helicopter will then take passengers inland to Lake Elsinore and hover above the super bloom of wildflowers.

To conclude the tour, passengers will get to see scenic San Clemente and then whale watch along the Pacific coast before heading back to Oceanside.
The company says they will continue with their super bloom tour from now “until Mother Nature takes over” and the bloom is no longer visible.

Additionally, during the holiday season, the company offers a Christmas lights tour above certain parts of San Diego County.
