Man shot at party in Paradise Hills, police say

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Police are investigating after a man was shot several times at a party in Paradise Hills early Sunday morning.

According to police, the incident happened on the 2400 block of Hopkins Street just after 2 a.m.

Police say the 30-year-old was attending a party at a nearby home when an unknown suspect or suspects shot him several times.

Party guests reportedly took the man to the hospital where he underwent surgery.

Police say the man is expected to survive his injuries.

At this time, police say there is no information on the suspect in the shooting.
