Man robs Linda Vista Taco Bell with semi-automatic weapon, police say

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- San Diego Police arrested two men Saturday night accused of robbing a Linda Vista Taco Bell at gunpoint.

According to police, the robbery occurred at 9 p.m. on the 7000 block of Eastman Street.

Police say one of the men approached the counter and pulled a semi-automatic handgun out from under his shirt, demanding cash.

After taking an unspecified amount of money, the suspect fled in a white vehicle that was waiting for him outside the restaurant.

According to police, employees waited 30 minutes before calling police. During that time, officers pulled the vehicle over for driving erratically. During the stop, police determined that the suspects were reportedly responsible for the robbery.

Both men, identified as Lateef Abdu, 24, and Abdirahim Nour, 19, were arrested.
