Magnitude 3.9 earthquake rattles Riverside County

(KGTV) — Riverside County was rattled by a 3.9-magnitude earthquake Tuesday afternoon.

The quake hit at about 1:20 p.m. a little more than a mile east of the Wildomar, Calif., area of Riverside County, between Lake Elsinore and Murrieta. The quake had a depth of about 8.8 miles.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey "Did You Feel It?" map, the earthquake could be felt as far south as Escondido.

No damages or injuries have been reported.
