SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — Dec.. 9, 2025, marked 15 years since law enforcement intentionally set a home on fire in Escondido known as the "bomb factory" home.

The home got its infamous name after a gardener was seriously injured when he stepped on an explosive in the yard. Inside, investigators found what was at the time the largest supply of homemade explosives in a single spot in the U.S.
