(KGTV) — Another treat from the vault. On this day 60 years ago, the Beatles played their first and only concert in San Diego at the old Balboa Stadium downtown.
Although Beatle mania was in full swing, the concert didn't even sell out.
According to the Union-Tribune, only 17 of 27,000 available tickets were sold, but those who did attend said you could barely hear the music over the screaming fans.
Those tickers had a top price of $5.50.
