A filmmaker raised in San Diego is heading to Sundance to showcase her short film.
Kayla Galang was born in the Philippines and raised in San Diego. Her film titled "When You Left Me On That Boulevard" is based in Paradise Hills.
She spoke to ABC 10News anchor Melissa Mecija about the journey to the prestigious film festival.
