FBI asks for help identifying 2019 bank robbery suspect

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — FBI investigators are asking the public for help identifying a bank robbery suspect on the lam since December.

A woman entered the Wells Fargo Bank, located at 9232 Miramar Rd., and demanded money from a teller just before 6 p.m. on Dec. 5, 2019, according to investigators.

The woman motioned to her waistband of her pants to indicate she was carrying a weapon, FBI investigators said. The teller complied with the suspect's demand and gave the woman cash.

The suspect then fled in an unknown direction, after placing the money in a black bag.

The suspect is described as a an African-American female, 5’ 06” tall, and weighing 120 to 140 lbs. She was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and black shoes. She also had a white bandage around her right hand.
