SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- A woman was arrested late Wednesday night after a crash off Interstate 805 that left her car engulfed in flames.

The incident occurred at around 11 p.m. in an area off southbound I-805, near Clairemont Mesa Boulevard.

ABC 10News learned the woman was involved in a two-vehicle wreck that then caused her Nissan 350Z to burst into flames.

The driver was able to get out of the vehicle without major injuries; the driver of the other car was not injured.

It took responding fire crews over 20 minutes to knock down the blaze.

The Nissan’s driver was treated at the scene before she was arrested on unspecified charges.
