SOLANA BEACH, Calif. (KGTV) -- Fire crews are responding after a bush fire broke out in Solana Beach Thursday night.
According to crews, the blaze started near Interstate 5 south near Lomas Santa Fe. Currently, the blaze has burned less than an acre and has a slow rate of spread.
Approximately five homes were threatened by the blaze.
The San Diego County Sheriff's Department urged the homes to evacuate, but no mandatory evacuations were issued.
