SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Crews put out a fire that charred vegetation near several homes in the Skyline area Wednesday.
San Diego Fire-Rescue Department officials said the fire was reported in brush located near 69th Street and Imperial Avenue at around 10:50 a.m.
The fire burned close to several homes, but no evacuation orders were issued.
Firefighters gained control of the fire after less than 30 minutes.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
